I definitely don't! That's too hectic for me. Plus I like wrapping gifts a few days earlier so they're under the tree already. My mom tends to do some shopping last minute.. maybe on Christmas Eve too, but I'm not 100 percent sure about that.

I never intentionally try to wait until the 24th,but It seems every year I need to buy stocking stuffers or exchange gifts on the 24th. Now do I like it? NO I loathe getting out on the 24th because I remember in my teens working in retail and HATING working on the 24th. Customers tend to be worn out and grumpy and stressed more than anything, and sales clerks are stressed too,are some are just downright rude.

I don't shop on the 24th; it's way too crowded and frustrating. My husband, on the other hand......

I avoid it at all costs, I always feel the need to have everything done early.
We have friends that always want us to babysit their kids so they can shop on Christmas Eve, and they always get upset when stores don't have what they are looking for.

My Dad always does his shopping on the 24th. Back when I was little, it was a tradition with his father and him.....

My Granddad passed away when I was in the 9th grade. Every year since, he goes to his grave site and then goes shopping. Gives me misty eyes just thinking about it.

On the lighter side, he has tried to get me to go with him since I was in the 3rd or 4th grade....I was like "Dad, I'm staying home and playing with toys..."

About 2 years ago he tried to get me to go...I was like "Dad, I'm staying home and playing with toys. There is no way I'm missing out on the fun for a month and 1/2 before that.....

No we do not do any Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. Now we may need to make a quick run to the grocery store but that would be about it.

I remember when I was a teenager going to mall on Christmas Eve afternoon with my parents... NEVER again... it was insane.....
