I go out shopping as well. It's the one day of the season I shop for myself and I find it helps hold the post-Christmas blues at bay...at least for a little while.

I may have also downed a box of Pot of Gold chocolates later that evening; another tradition I enjoy. It was soon followed by a sugar rush and much running up and down the hallway.

My calves still hurt.

This year on the 26th was rather different for me. as I have joined this website last fall I have met many great friends here who have shared the same feelings as me,so that has helped alot as far as post Christmas blues go. As far as this past year though on the 26th instead of feeling depressed and let down,I felt like it was still christmas,I was at my parents home with my brother and sisters and aunts and uncles and it was very cloudy and cold so we all visited all day and ate,and ate and ate all day long. and also watched old home movies!! Christmas 2010 has been the best Holiday season in recent memory! 2002 comes in a close second.

Every year on the evening of Dec 26th is when we celebrate Christmas with hubby's dad, his fiance and her kids, hubby's siblings and their families. Each year we rotate houses and will either have a full sit down dinner or just have finger/snack foods. It's a good time. Earlier in the day we will venture out to the stores to see what kind of deals we can find on wrapping paper, cards, decorations, etc.

We went over my Grandma's for some yummy food and to exchange gifts. My Hubby missed it because it was snowing and he was working. No matter what its always a sad day for me knowing that Christmas is over

We usually dont have set plans on what we do the day after Christmas. This year I will be off of work again since Christmas is on a Sunday our work Holiday will be Monday but normally I have to work if Christmas is not on a weekend.

In the UK its a second Christmas day (Boxing day) although theres a growing (annoying) trend to go sales shopping.

So what are peoples plans around the world?
we usually just relax and play games, sometimes we visit, sometimes others visit us. So we really have no set traditions for this day. Watching movies is another thing we like to do.
