So, yeah, I've found myself listening to Christmas music today. The iPod is on random play and I just haven't turned it. :\

the "blues" can happen any time of the year and having the support of others is one of the best ways to get through them. I feel better just reading all the responses here and blues have nothing to do with Christmas being over. I am just really discouraged about this whole job finding thing, lack of income worries and just not feeling good about myself right now. It is great to read so much advice to help get through it all. Thanks everyone even though it was no directed at me, it still helped me!

Hey Christmasstar, your lack of income worries are understandable for sure. However a person's job or lack there of doesn't define the person ... so that shouldn't drive your thoughts about yourself. This past year I left a job after 10 plus years without anything else lined up, because the stress wasn't worth it to me anymore. I found a new job in under a month. I tell you this, certainly not to brag ... but so you know it's very possible to find something bigger and better. You need to tell yourself that it's going to be OK and that this time next year this will be a distant memory. That's how I see it anyway )

To beat the blues I keep subtle visual reminders in my home and even in my office. But more importantly I keep Christmas in my heart and come to this forum to share with others who do the same. Christmas has no off season.

Yea my xmas music is still on my zune. It comes on every so often and it puts a smile on my face. Sometimes though, I must say...I have to be in the right mood or I feel sad. I think mostly because it takes so long for Christmas to get here. I was just thinking how it would be nice to skip to October and do the 3 best holidays again.

You can bet when June gets here, I will be here swearing off summer and heat. We have summer June to the first week of October. I would enjoy being cold year round, not kidding.
