While in season it is common to see the image of Santa Claus used by all manner of companies large and small it is somewhat unusual to see off-season representations of Santa Claus to sell things.
“It doesn’t matter when it happens,” Westover noted. “Someone somewhere out there is going to notice and take offense to it. Santa holds a place in the hearts of parents who try to use Santa Claus as a role model of the true spirit of Christmas. Selling has nothing to do with that.”
I agree Jeff, this just is not right!
