For sure, I do this as well. When I am bumming out, Christmas thoughts, music and movies really do help. I think today may be one of those days where you just say "blah" and need a little pick-me-up

Yesterday we were at the Christmas was one month ago mark.

Absolutely! No matter what circumstances I've found myself in...just the thought of Christmas brings light into my heart!

It does... but it also sometimes that works against me... Like my exams, I had my first batch in the weeks before christmas, all I could do was sing Christmas songs, come on here, be in a christmassy mood... didn't help the studying... my next batch was in January (only just finished...) I kept thinking: last time I was studying it was almost Christmas... :P *sigh*

I completely agree too - when Im feeling sad I crank up the music and theres nothing more heart felt for than that to listen to O Holy Night by Al Green.
When I have a spare minute I enjoy creating lists and making plans.

Christmas warms my heart and always reminds me of the good times and family. The feeling begins to build in September when the children return to school...........

Oh I wish it could be Christmas every dayyyyyyyyyyyyy

It definitely helps me cope when times are stressful and gives me encouragement when I'm feeling a little down. As long as Christmas remains a year round frame of mind for me I find that life is pretty darn good in general.

Even thugh life gerts hectic and at time stresful during the holiday, I like to sit back and reflect on the true meaning of it all. For some reason that makes me feel better. I really get into the holidays with buying prsents, wrapping, baking, sending out cards, and decorating the house. it brings me such happines to do all these things.

It does for me. Whenever I'm feeling stressed I like to think about Christmas and come to MMC and it relaxes me.
