Christmas a Day

I thought a great way to hold onto Christmas and keep the Christmas spirit going, would be to start a "Christmas a day" thread.

The idea is to talk about something you saw, watched, thought, bought etc that reminded you of Christmas each day.

The other day, I watched "The Polar Express." I forgot how wonderful this movie is. Where it was intended to be created for children, I can't help but think it was meant for adults too! I always get so happy, nostalgic and teary eyed! Its wonderful!

How about you?

What a WONDERFUL thread !!!

I have three Christmas ornaments that I keep out all year placed in front of my computer where I work. I see them each and every day. One of them is a Hallmark Ornament of The Poky Little Puppy. My mother read that book to me when I was little so the ornament has a special meaning to me. It not only reminds me of Christmas but of my mother who along with Christmas means the world to me. Thinking of both together is so joyous because Christmas and my mom are one and the same.

i started looking around for christmas gifts, i plan on starting earlier than ever this year so that i can really spread the cost.

i was also really hungry and started thinking about the perfect christmas lunch... turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, lots of vegetables and lashings of gravy....

great thread!
