Original 1983 review of "A Christmas Story"

I came across this much by accident earlier tonight. I thought it would be fun to share with all of you.

Siskel & Ebert review of "A Christmas Story" Ebert seems to see what we all know now. Enjoy!

I remember the first time I saw the movie. I actually thought it was made in the time period depicted. I don't know what that really says about the movie (or me), but it is an absolute holiday GEM! There's something there that all can relate to.

Thanks for sharing this!

I have not seen that review, it was good and I really like the movie. Come to think of it, I have not seen it yet this season, I am going to pop it in now.

Thanks for sharing! Neat to see Siskel and Ebert again as well as their very positive review of "A Christmas Story." Interesting, Ebert hit it right out of the park. No one went to see AND everyone went to see it. This classic that did tepid business at the box office is now watched by so many during the Christmas season!
