I am not exaggerating either! I have watched both those movies at LEAST that many times! Then you have the marathon of A Christmas Story on each year. Yes, I own it on dvd but still turn on the marathon!
I do that too. I can't see either one of them too many times. I usually save Wonderful Life for Nov/Dec though.

I just watched "The Bishop's Wife". At the end of a long day when I'm too tired to read or too brain dumb to watch my usual poitical stuff, I almost alway watch something Christmasy to relax. It's everything from Frazier Christmas episodes (I think that show had the most Christmas episodes of any sitcom), movies, Food Network Christmas specials, TLC Christmas specials, etc.

I'm so thankful for my DVR - I have tons of specials and movies recorded on there! Love Christmas episodes of nearly any sitcom!

Other times especially mid summer I think - Am I spoiling things by watching mid year?

Just thought I'd throw that out there and see what others do... am I mad?

My friends and famaily dont really get it...
To me...there's nothing better than watching Christmas movies - no matter what the calendar (or anyone else) says!

My family and friends all know my love for Christmas - so they actually expect it of me. Ahhhh...to know me is to love me..LOL!!!

There is nothing wrong with it...if it puts a smile on your face and happiness in your heart...then do it!

I vowed not to watch any christmas movie until at least september onwards but yesterday the weather was pretty awful, wet and very windy and it reminded me of winter so i decided to put on The polar express,i was only going to watch the first 15 minutes or so but my 3 year was with me and he totally got into the film which aint like him because he cant normally sit in one spot for more than 5 minutes,we ended up watching the whole movie and come bedtime he wanted to watch it again so i took him upstairs and put it on again and i had to off it after 35 minutes because no way was he going to sleep, first thing this morning he wanted to watch it again so no doubt sometime today it will get another viewing.

I do this also. There are a few I tend to only watch during the Season.. my youngest Son LOVES Frosty so I watch that almost weekly LOL , my oldest Son loves The Polar Express... so we watch that quite a bit too. I agree that there is nothing better then watching a nice Christmas movie or show in the middle of the hot summer.
