I`ve just read through the article, do people really spend Christmas Day going on rides and doing the things they can do every other day of the year??!! Not my personal choice but its interesting to see what other people do on the big day!!!

I've always wondered that too. I can't imagine it myself. I had a niece who worked for a time at Disneyland and she never got Christmas off because it was so popular for people to go there on Christmas Day.

Something just doesn't seem right about that, to me.

I love the Christmas nap! Christmas Eve is a killer and by the time Christmas morning is behind us and the kids are blissfully buried with all their new toys we find the pillows for the best nap of the year.

Christmas Day is often the busiest day of the year at the Disney parks and while Christmas Day would not be a day I'd wanna go to a park, that time of year is my favorite time to be there!

My sister will be there the week before Christmas this year. She has tickets for the Christmas party too. Two of my favorite things are Christmas & Disney, but I can't imagine being at Disney World on Christmas Day. I'm too much of a traditionalist for that!

I am with all of you, Christmas day for me is to spend at home with my family, not in a theme park with a bunch of strangers.

We have watched the Disney Christmas Day Parade in years past, and my wife and I just saying we couldn't imagine being there on Christmas. It would really throw off our traditions, and being away from family would be the worst.

They tape the parade the first week in December, but lots of people don't know that. There have been some unhappy people show up at Disney World/Land on Christmas Day expecting to see a Christmas parade & there isn't one! Also, the past couple of years, they have used some of the same scenes over again (Imagination Movers song).
