My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
It's been a hot minute since I've posted here (although I have been lurking). Life has gotten busy!
After a devastating pregnancy loss right before Christmas this past year, we found out that we were expecting again just six weeks later!! I'm currently 18 and a half weeks along and we're expecting A GIRL October 27th, 2011!!! I'm so excited! We have our little boy and now we'll have our girl. Only issue is, I've been classified as "high risk" because of a few complications, so I've had to take it easy...which is much easier said than done when keeping up with a two year old who is ALL BOY!
Other than that, we're getting our home ready for a Christmas in which we have two little ones and I couldn't be more excited! I miss Christmas soooo much and I can't wait for it this year! Our little Eli will be 2 and a half this Christmas and I cannot WAIT to see his little face when he sees all of his gifts!!
I've been lurking, but since I'm supposed to be "resting" more, I should have more time to actually get on here and communicate more with my fellow Christmas lovers!! I missed you guys!
"I love smiling...smiling's my favorite!"

Great to see you, ReineV. I was thinking about you the other day and wondering where you were. Sorry to hear of the pregnancy trauma. We know it all too well, having gone through that six times during the course of our marriage. It is never easy, I don't care how far along you are.
But you've got exciting news and we thrill the share in it. This Christmas will no doubt be fun but Christmas 2012 ought to be a real hoot -- your new little one will be walking! And that's when you learn that your tree will only be decorated halfway down.
I look at our pictures from those years and wonder if people thought we were nuts!
