Clarence Clemmons

I have to say that I've never felt worse about the loss of someone I've never met as I do with the passing of Clarence Clemmons. His work is part of my history, part of the soundtrack of my life and seeing him play live part of many, many a happy evening.

We play his work on MerryChristmasRadio, and I play his work all the time at home, in the car and on my iPod...The world will never be quite as cool...

God Bless you Clarence...And thanks...

I feel the very same way. RIP Mr. Clemmons. Heaven just got one cool sax for the choir.

I really hadn't realized how old he was until I checked the news story; he had such a great stage presence that it made him seem much younger. You will be missed, Mr. Clemmons!

Well, now I know who Clarence is when Bruce is singing "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town"! (where he asks Clarence if he's been good, etc.) I'll think of Clarence every time I hear that version of the song from here on out.

His sax was the best part of the whole song. One of my favorites!

Sad to hear of this great musician's passing-thanks for sharing your thoughts on Clarence!
