How do you keep Christmas every day?

So it occurred to me that soon we can put out decorations and people won't think we're a bit nuts. However, what I want to know is what do you do (besides listen to music, watch movies/shows, and come to MMC) to keep Christmas alive throughout the year?

I have this Norfolk Island Pine at my desk that I got one year with presents and Santa on it that I leave on there all year round. Most people don't even notice the Santa because he's somewhat hidden. It makes me happy, just looking at his glittery, bearded face throughout the year because I know what a special time is awaiting me at the latter quarter of the year.

I moved Santa out to the forefront so you guys could get a better view.

Honestly, about all I do is listen to music, come to MMC, and watch specials and movies occasionally. My DH loves the holidays, but only for a little while and when they should be partaking. He wouldn't be too happy with me if I would keep decorations up all year along. I would love to, but he wouldn't. I let him win with that as long as he lets me listen to the music and such when I want!

That's what this forum does for me. We also keep a small Nativity scene in view inside the china cabinet.

I have a christmas/snowman themed coffee mug that I use at work all year long. Ihave a little rustic squirrel with pine bows and red berries that I got with an ornament exchange a couple years ago that I keep out all year round on my dinning room hutch.

My Christmas-every-day is visiting here on MMC! And putting together segments for the Merry Podcasts and MCR means I can keep my Christmas music handy year-round. I also enjoy searching the Web for forgotten, public-domain Christmas stories and books.

Mee too - I use my Christmas mugs all year! I usually don't listen to Christmas music until about September! (and some say THATS crazy...ha ha ha) Although I have been known to break out Christmas music in July, I normally don't listen again until September when the weather starts to cool. BUT every year is different! And this thread is reminding me that I need to get out my countdown to Christmas snowman!!!

I actually sometimes listen to that Peanuts Christmas album throughout the year. It's mostly musical and if I need to write, it's pretty good background music.

I have a few other things that I do too.

I must admit to not posting around here all through the year but I do check in a lot (just turn into more of a lurker).
