My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
What I like to do is take all the cut up pine tree branches and make a wreath or put them around the house! I also love all decorations from when my kids were still in grade school, I use them every year..even though 2 are in high school and one is in middle!

I love my Christmas Village! It makes me think of simpler times, an ideal place to be! I also treasure decorations passed down in the family, and homemade ornaments, because they have stories to tell =)

I love my Nativity Scenes. I have 5 at present. One is the one my Dad made when I was 6, because I volunteered to take a Nativity set to school and we didn't actually have one. He made the stable out of twigs and branches that came from my Grandmom's property. The figures he got from a second-hand store (this was before he went back to school and we were able to buy whatever we wanted. He worked hard. I loved my Daddy!). Another is from an old "Putz" scene, and I got it at an antique shop that I visited on my birthday. Two are from my Husband's church, that sadly had to close last year, and they are HUGE, and very lovely. The last one is a "Blue Sky" manger scene, to I have added little figures of my pets past and present. I love manger scenes, and whenever we go shopping I look for them.
