My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
Just off the top of my head- ummm. that 1993 movie with Madonna and Rosy O'Donnel. where the women played baseball.I remember that song at the end(this use to be our playground-madonna) was our class graduation song,so it reminds me of kind of sad times.
Titanic-at the time was very sad. not so much now after all these years.
City of angels- was a very good 1998 movie was sad as well.
I try to steer clear of sad movies.I prefer horror or Christmas!
You're thinking of A League of Their Own with Tom Hanks and Geena Davis. I LOVE that movie!

I get teary eyed very easily watching movies. I cry for joy and I cry for sadness.
There is one movie that I cried and while I was crying I suddenly started laughing with tears still streaming down my face is, Steel Magnolias. For those who have seen it will know what I am talking about. It's the only movie I cried for sadness and laughed at the same time. You just have to see it because something silly happens during the sadness.
