Imagine what will happen if the stores are allowed to stay open all night Christmas Eve until lunch time on Christmas Day! This year, more than 50,000 restaurants, bars, convenience stores and...
My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
The one thing DH makes sure to do is to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with me one night in December. We also watch White Christmas---DD watches that one with us, usually.
I've gone with my mom & DD to Fantasy of Trees every year since DD was born. I have a thumbprint ornament of each year, & my mom has a photo ornament of our trip. Mom is having double knee replacement on September 28, so we're hoping she's well enough to make our trip to FoT on Black Friday this year!
DD & I make a treat for Santa every year on Christmas Eve, & DD throws reindeer food in the yard.

I have a long list of 'must watch' Christmas movies along with catching Christmas episodes of my favorite shows. Oh, and can't forget the Christmas specials! We always watch Christmas Vacation while decorating the tree, go to the Festival of Trees and watch the parade of lights!
I think mine might be a bit of a strange one! Every Christmas Eve, just as it's getting dark, I like to go outside for a few minutes. I love the fact that you can almost smell Christmas in the air, it's positively tingling with excitement. I supppose I also use this time to breathe deeply and relax as it can be crazy on Christmas Eve! Last Christmas Eve we had a lot of snow and it was just so magical and perfect

Every Christmas...well Christmas season my sister and I begin watching Christmas movies every weekend until Christmas eve. We usually begin watching them near the end of November because we own too many Christmas DVDs to begin in December!!

Ever since hubby and I have been together I have cooked Christmas dinner at home. Over the years the menu and guest list has changed. About 5 years ago we decided to stay home on christmas eve and make a Christmas Eve dinner at home and that has now evolved to the Italian seafood dinner. We watch christmas movies all month long, drive around and look at Christmas lights.

We used to always go to my aunts house and make cut out cookies 2 weeks before Christmas, now she is no longer with us so for the past 3 years everyone has been coming to my house to make the cookies. Now, because there are so many more people that come we do it right after Thanksgiving and make all kinds of delicious cookies! I just love baking and having everyone at my house. It really brings in the holiday spirit!

Christmas Eve, my husband and I go to mass at 5:30. When we get home, we celebrate with two of my step sons, and our daughter in law. One step son lives in Florida, so unless he comes to CT, we don't see him during the holidays. I put out an assortment of appetizers, and we also enjoy christmas cookies, relax, and listen to christmas music. On Christmas morning, we open our presents, I make a special breakfast. My step children have people to visit, so they go on their way, while my husband helps me prepare dinner. last yer, we ate dinner later than usual, 4pm. I think we will make that our new tradition because it worked out very well for us. Afterwards, I make coffee, and we enjoy dessert. The kids are always anxious to open everything in the morning, but my husband and i like to wait till later in the day to open our stockings. It's a nice quiet day spent at home, but we enjoy it so much.
