Aww that sounds so nice GingerMel! For me it really kicks in after my Mum and Sister's Birthdays in mid November. The Christmas lights will be switched on in our town on the 25th November, so there will be no denying it then...Christmas is coming

That really is a sweet description GingerMel.

For me, it's early November. Hallmark has started airing the Christmas movies, the weather has FINALLY turned into sweater weather down here, and I drag out my Christmas stuff during the first weekend of the month.

Christmas is on my mind now, which is why i am here . I guess I get into the spirit mid november. Then it's game on at the start of advent. I'm particularly looking forward to it this year as it's my first year at university so i'm looking forward to being back home with all my friends and family. Can't come soon enough!

I wait untill it's Thanksgiving and that when I watch Miracle on 34th street (with Maureen O'hara, John Payne, Edmund Gwenn and Natalie Wood). It just sort of feels just right at that moment-- cold outside, turkey cooking, family is all together and Santa arriving at Macys on TV!!!! Just bring on the snow and the hot chocolate while sitting in front of the fireplace...

Xtree1 For me....

For me, usually, Christmas starts in early November. However because I sort of missed Christmas last year (I was very sick with pneumonia), I've already started my traditions for this year, about a week ago.

My first tradition is always to watch "Family Man" for whatever reason that really gets me in the Christmas mood.

It starts the day after Halloween for me. I go into full swing with watching all Christmas tv and listen to really only Christmas music.

Last year I was the same way. But I missed Halloween because I was in the hospital for a week for kidney stones. It was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. I was so bummed because I missed my twin brothers in their Woody and Buzz Lightyear outfits (everyone said they were adorable and I missed it ). I'm usually not as into Halloween because I start planning for Christmas now, but this year I ordered my costume a month early.

In my country the houses only get decorated at the beginning of december. But for me christmas starts at november. Which means I will listen to christmas music and burn christmas candles.

And I already have all my christmas gifts! I am sooooooo proud of me. Normally I am real late at buying christmas gifts. So this years christmas season will be sooo relaxing.

For me, it starts creeping in everyday in Nov....but on the 2nd weekend of the month when I put the tree up....it's 100% from there on in!
