Its "supposed" to be just as bad if not worse in the uk this year kelly, although like you said in a earlier post, they said we would have snow last month and we didnt!! We have started buying a couple of bags of grit for our driveway so we are stocked up, we couldnt get the car off it sometimes last year and the councils were so unprepared, to be honest I cant see them being any more prepared for it this year either!

The last 2 years the UK has benn hit hard with snow and cold...I lived north of London from 1998 off and on until 2009 right when it started snowing alot...we always got snow but not like it has been the last 2 years!! I miss out on everything!

I'm gussing we'll have some snow at the end of november, and if I remember correctly it snowed 3 Fridays out of four in December here, strange.

On the flip side, we ALWAYS have snow here in Edmonton, Alberta before Halloween. But there was nothing this year. That hasn't happened since 1966. Crazy!

In my area of Pa, we got around 5.5 inches. We didn't lose any power, my the towns around me did. Some areas were really pounded. I continue to pray for the people who still don't have power!
