How Long Do You Leave Your Decorations Up?

I usually take them down around the end of January, but this year I’m thinking even later, mid to late February. The odd thing I may take down, but the majority I’ll probably keep up. I love having them up and the whole cozy atmosphere it gives off. To me they’re more than just Xmas decorations, they’re also winter decor. Especially at the rate we’re going, maybe we’ll finally see snow by then!

If the decorations are strictly Christmas related they will come down the weekend after the first. I normally keep everything up til on or around Jan 6th. Dont know where I came up with that date but this year it does fall on the weekend.

If it is winter related then I will keep it up til Valentines day. I dont really decorate for that holiday but it seems like a good time to start thinking about spring.

I usually take them down around the begining of February.

As for what you said Christy:
I normally keep everything up til on or around Jan 6th. Dont know where I came up with that date but this year it does fall on the weekend.
Check these links out:

I wonder if one of these might be in your subconscience when picking this date.

When are you meant to take them down by? Isn't there a superstition which states that is bad luck to keep them up past a certain date?
