Help! My 12 year old daughter is asking what she can get me for Christmas. For years, my sister has taken her for a day of shopping, lunch, more shopping etc., so I could go home and get all my gifts wrapped and under the tree. When she was little, they just went to the Dollar Tree, got some pretty interesting stuff! For the last few years it's been more expenisve that the Dollar Tree stuff, I limit her to about $10 per person for me, her dad and 3 brothers, and grandparents (and the dog and the bunny). So I'm trying to think of something in the $10 or less range. I'm not a big jewelry wearer, and most scented stuff I cannot use because of allergies - so no candles, smelly bath stuff etc.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

I love everyone's ideas! I'm not sure how crafty she is either - she could even make you something, since she still has 6 weeks left. There are things called latch hooks and you can make them into things, like pillows. That would be cheap and pretty.
You can get these for under $10.00. I was always loved making these as a kid!

A ladies devotional book is always a great gift, they have some that take you through the entire year, that is one of my favorites....No matter what she chooses I am sure you will enjoy it.....Merry CHRISTmas.....

I just bought 2 friends those purse clips for hanging your purse from the table - like at a restaurant. You can get your purse off the table, but not have it sitting on the floor. $9.50 each. Here are some examples:
How about a keepsake ornament from Hallmark or Carlton Cards..? Something with the year on it... which could become a tradition that she'd get you one every year until she grows up and moves out... possibly one with her school picture on it for this year, repeated every year..?
