Tips for Buying a Fresh Tree
I will do that fresh cut of the trunk.....that was my problem last Christmas.....the tree lost so many needles....even tho it was fresh....the problem was....since I didnīt cut the trunk....the tree...
I must admit, Iím having a slightly difficult time concentrating on work today (yeah, donít tell my boss!). Iíve begun to decorate my workspace with little touches of Christmas. I have a couple of festive snowmen, Christmas mugs and some vintage cardboard ornaments which belonged to my grandparents.
It just puts me in such a festive mood that I want to flee the cube farm, go home, curl up with a cup of peppermint tea (in one of my favorite Pottery Barn Christmas mugs) and watch ďWhite ChristmasĒ! Guess Iíll just have to put it on the listÖ
I donít know about you, but I am a list-maker. I probably get that from my Dad. He NEVER wears a shirt without a pocket and NEVER is without a list in said pocket.
I make lists for what I have to do for the day and for the week. I make lists when I go on a trip and am the queen of trip itineraries! This time of year EVERYONE becomes a list maker. My sisters who probably donít make lists as I do on a daily basis, carry their Christmas Shopping Lists with them at all times. My sister Bobbi showed me the other day that she has a new little journal JUST to keep her Christmas list.
I guess Santa isnít the only one checking his list twiceÖ
Until next timeÖ Merry Christmas Today and Every Day!

I so hear you! I decorated my cube earlier this week, took the fall stuff down and up went Christmas stuff! I'd love to leave too, I'm not overly busy and no one else is here, hence being able to play on here for a little bit during my lunch time. Hang in there! Not sure where you are, but day is half over with here!

The best way to avoid the cube is being your own boss! Especially if most of your work is with kids and the elderly, it means that when you're at work you're either somewhere that's already decorated like a school or a home, or you're at home... Which is, of course, decorated to the hilt!
Man, I love being so pathetic this time of year!
