Thank you to everyone so far for the welcomes. I should elaborate a bit more. I've been told that I get carried away with Christmas on the off season. I hope thats not the case, however I do love the time of year and holiday.

If it were up to me, I would leave the decorations, tree, and lights up all year. However, if I were to do that, maybe those items wouldn't have the same meaning when it is time to put them up. Maybe too much of a good thing isn't so good. But I do have a few Christmas items around in sight.

I don't know about the rest of you, but my favorite Christmas song to listen to is Sleigh Ride. I like the Johnny Mathis version. I also like the song It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. I agree totally. I know for some thats not the case.

For me, I look forward to it. I start putting my outdoor lights up the day after Thanksgiving. As for this website, I check every day just to see the Christmas count down clock. Thank goodness we are nearing the half way point until Christmas!

See you all later

Dennis

The SW1 is my military title. Although, I have finally retired after 20 years in the Navy Reserves (Seabees). Jeff, so far so good with your website. I have loved it for years now. Very colorful.

One thing I did want to mention that I forgot, is I have been taping various shows on tv with Christmas themes. I look at a site called Zap2it.com and do an advanced search. I pick description, type in Christmas, up pops shows coming on with Christmas themes. I don't tape all of them, just the ones I enjoy.

Maybe once I get better at this forum thing, I can figure out how to put a picture on so that it will show up everytime I post something.

So long for now, and we're near the half way point to Christmas!!

If you can somehow show me the picture you want to use or describe to me what you're looking for, I can set you up. Just send me a PM or email me at dominick@merryforums.com.
