wow....we live so far away from each other...but our easter mornings are very, very similar arent they ?

I know!! its neat isn't it!!! THis is my 3rd year in this church and I really love the way we do it. IT's very very calming and I usually get goosebumps when the sun comes up..To me it almost feels like I am witnessing the ressurection..

As a pastor's son, Easter for me growing up always meant getting up at 4:00 AM to be at the first of three Easter services, the first one at 5:00 AM. As an adult, Easter for my family always starts with church (but not the 5:00 AM service), then home for lunch with my wife and daughters. Here in Illinois Easter can mean anything from 70 and sun to 25 and snow so you never now if those Easter hats a church will have bit of a frost on them. Depending on when it occurs, Easter seems to be the start of Spring and renewal of life.
