star Chocolate Pudding Fudge!

I was in the mood for some christmas time baking and I find this recipe that I never do get to make enough, so I thought I would share it, cuz its fun and easy and oh so tasty!!

Takes about 15 minutes to make
2 hours for refrigerate to set

1 pkg of bakers semi sweet backing chocolate--divided in half
a stick of butter (or margarine, divided
1/3 cup of water
1 pkg if jello chocolate flavor pudding and pie filling
3 cups of powdered sugar

Microwave 4 of the chocolate squares, 6 tbsps of the butter and water
ON High for 2 MINUTES or until butter is melted
Stir well mixing chocolate and butterm add dry pudding mix
stir until well blended--no dry spots!
add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until well blended
after each cup
Press into foil lined 8 inch square pain
(if You have a heart shaped pan or a circle pan it also comes out very nice)

For "topping"
Microwave remaining 4 squares of bakers semis and 2tbsp of butter
1 to 1 1/2 minutes--until butter melts
remove from microwave
stir until chocolate is completly melted
Spread over "fudgeyPudding" mixture
Refrigerate 2 hours until firm
Cut into 48 1 inch squares
In a square 8inch pan this will yield you about
24 servings of 2 squares each!

Happy Fudging!!

Its very easy to make! It only takes about 15 minutes if your not making it with kids around LOL...if you do let the kids help it takes closer to 25!! But you can also add nuts or marshmallows or even chopped up peanut butter cups...there are so many ways to make it!!
I like to crush up toffee bars and throw em in there! Its so good!

as soon as it cools down here I am really going to try that one. Unfortunately my son is with his dad out in California and his new family. Out of sight, and he doesn't think of me.......
