It seems sad because it seems so far away. Some folks fight that with watching Christmas movies or listening to Christmas music, or even blasting the A/C for a little while to pretend it's wintertime. The members here tend to make their own Christmas whenever they need it, regardless of what the rest of the world is doing. In July you can find little bits of Christmas around because of Christmas in July sales, Hallmark is running Christmas movies this weekend and is releasing their new ornaments this weekend, and next week the shopping channel is doing their Christmas in July. So just now it's a little easier to make or find a little Christmas out of season. (Correction: It's never "out of season" here.)
So maybe what you need is some ice cream or a cold soft drink, jack up the A/C if you've got it, and put on a Christmas movie ... or one of those DVDs with Christmas music and winter scenes. And visit here often!
Well it was june of last year i really started wanting christmas to be here. I started listening to christmas music in june. Problem is my wife won't let me till november after last year. haha she said christmas is her favorite holiday but music is not supposed to be played in the summer. I did it again this year. Asked her if i could listen to christmas music and she said no. She has however watched a few christmas movies with me. Home alone and home alone 2. I had tears almost come out earlier because i seen a gorgoeus picture of the snow and lights. It's never happened before. Maybe it's cause of the stupid heat wave we have had this summer. I want winter to get here cause i'm sick of the summer.

There is a small restaurant, with a beautiful views of the sea through large Windows. And a Fireplace inside. And all I thought was "Oh what a wonderful place this must be in Wintertime when Snow is falling and the sea is rough...
