I'm not a Doctor, but I play one on TV...I'm the singer for a small Rock and Roll band you may have heard of...The Rolling Stones???

Seriously though, I'm a salesman for a metals company. Our products are used in elevators, hotels, all the shiny stuff...I don't remember thinking when I was a kid that this is what I wanted to be when I grew up but it's worked out pretty well!!! I've also been an actor, a waiter, a bartender, a limo driver, a financial planner, a life insurance salesman,a stage manager, a lighting and sound man for a large comedy club in California...At night I cater to the whims of three cats and a wife...It's a good life...or should I say...It's a Wonderful Life!!!

When I grow up I wanna be a cowboy or a fireman...(I'm only 45!!!)

I work for a school district in the Technology Dept. I do mostly phone base support with remote capabilites. If the issue is hardware then I dispatch a work order to one of our field techs.
I have done tech support for 8 years now.

Well, I am a homemaker/webmaster. I work from my living room, in my jammies! I have several sites of my own, and I have built a few for local companies, and family members. In the past I was assistant director of mailroom operations for a fairly large printing company in Albuquerque, NM. I have also worked as a server, a shift manager, and I was the Easter bunny at a mall for 2 years. oh... and I was an elf at that same mall...

I was a medical secretary for a lot of years, but decided I didn't want to end my working life as an old secretary. I had this picture of blue rinse/pincurls and glasses on a chain round my neck. Ha!

The opportunity came up to train as a holistic therapist and I jumped at it. My specialty is aromatherapy ie: the use of essential plant oils for good health and well being. I write a column for an alternative website and keep an online blog where I review beauty products as well as offer aromatherapy advice.

Doesn't make me enough to keep a mouse in crumbs at the mo, so in the meantime I do 2 or 3 days a week at my MIL's cafe.

Very interesting, reading what everyone does too!

Merry Sage-what website do you post on? We're very into Natural Living and holistic type medicine here.

I work as a church secretary and I definitely work through the holiday season (it's one of our busiest times of year). My job involves a little bit of everything...the basic secretarial stuff like filing, typing, answering phones, doing layout, printing and distribution of bulletins and newsletters as well as doing all of our publishing (brochures, pictorial directories, church manuals, etc.), managing our church website, computer and network maintenence and repair and just about anything and everything else that needs to be done around a church.

I also do some writing on the side and I hope to be able to answer this question much differently someday!
