We always have a traditional tree with multi color lights and a mixture of modern ornaments, collectables we've added every year, and ornaments that our kids have made when they were younger.

I haven't been able to afford it yet, but I've always wanted to do some theme trees in the other rooms of the house. I'd like to have an authentic aluminum tree with the color wheel for one room just for the nostalgia. I never had one, but I was fascinated with them when I was a boy.

I have been wanting an aluminum Christmas tree for a long time. I finally just bought a little bitty table top one for now. That will keep me happy until I can get a taller one. It will not replace my main tree, just something to add to the collection. =)

I've seen some very nicely done theme trees but while they look nice on display, they're just not *me*.

Our tree is traditional with colored lights, beaded garland and an Angel on top. Our ornaments are a mix of ornaments we've collected over the years. Many of our ornaments are from vacations we've taken so they carry a lot of fun memories with them. We also purchase one or two new ornaments a year to add to our collection.

Traditional over here but I do love themes !!! We are putting an extension on our house and I hope some day to have a smaller tree that has a theme every year ....

I've always been more drawn to that anyway. But I've noticed more and more people are going for more trendy or themed trees.
One friend of mine had a peacock & bufferfly themed tree! It was beautiful and very different. Another friend had a blue hot pink tree with pink & purple decor. Very interesting and surprisingly pretty! What do you like?

What is your Christmas tree style?
What great thread !!! Your tree sounds so pretty ! xo

We top the tree with an lighted Angel. We have nicknamed our Christmas tree, our little memory tree.
How touching, I love that you call it your little memory tree !! And what perfect way to preserve memories than with ornaments on a Christmas tree xo

Our tree is I guess, a conglomerate of everything all together !! I always use all white lights though I love colored ones too. The ornaments are mostly Hallmark ornaments from down through the years many of which are from when my first husband was alive and we were first married. I have special ornaments that my dear sister has given me over the years and a very, very special one that my wonderful mother gave me from the World War II era when the United States was not making ornaments out of glass but plastic. The glass was going toward the war effort and so the ornaments were made out of an alternative. I am tending toward a snow flocked tree this year even though I know the flocking can be messy. It just looks so Christmassy to me !!!
