Yip your right it can take a lot of time but i feel it is worth it . am doing it for the lapland trust this year they take kids that are dying and will be there last christmas to see santa in lapland ..
But making the inside nice is very important to does.nt it feel so cold, dark and sad when they have to be put away !!

That's great what you are doing for a great cause and your right about when the decorations come down the house does look empty for a week or two.

hey look there...I just read u like those type of pyramides.....one of those stores is in Heidelberg...which is close to my hometown....and there they display one of those pyramides....which is about 3meters high....awesome....of course I guess this one would be too much for Your living room

I dont really set a budget for this...I want one or two christmas garlands and the rest is bought when i see it....nothing expensive .....i dont think it will be more than 50 euros...if at all

Interesting to see alot people dont budget,i have no choice because i can go overboard so when ive got a budget i will shop around and get the best prices going which is part of the fun.

I live with my parents, therfore my mum is the boss of decoration and she calls the budget. We moved this year so I don't know how much money she wants to spend on christmas decorations.

Of course I will decorate my room myself. I don't have a Budget yet und I doubt I am going to make one. Usually I go look in the shops which kind of decorations are sold and then buy what caught my eyes.

I always end up buying a couple of new things each year but nothing big. I don't budget for decor but I'm sure I never spend more than $100 tops.
