Christmas Talk

I have been working on making my own Christmas outdoor display this year, something no one else has. Been working on it for a month now and have a lot done, can't wait to set some of it out but it is a little early yet.

Sounds great! It would be neat if you could take some photos or video to share with us as things progress. It would be a great addition to showusyourchristmas.com this year!

I myself, put up anywheres around 6,000 - 10,000 lights up on any given year and it takes me about a week (of nights and the whole weekend) just to complete it all. Boy, I can only imagine what your decorations must look like if you start this early; I just got to see your handy work! Please post some pictures when your all done and everything is up and lit......Thanks!

Hey sounds wonderful! I would really like to do a display in my front garden one year. No one else has one in my street.

What is yours like? What is the scene like?

I think the blow molds should be brought back. People are tired of these inflatables and the staggering prices. That's why a lot of people are buying old blow molds from Goodwill or E-bay.

Lights

For the past several years, I've been putting up all the outside lights by myself.

We are also adding something new and different this year, we will assemble later, we already have something no one has around here anyway, and our display can be seen for miles, we light up and have lawn decor around all 4 sides of our home, thousands and thousands never counted? and won 1st. place in a lighting contest xmas 2012, we did not know was going on... LOL not kidding! what is your display made of? cutting it out of wood? or what?
