stocking Surprise

This past Friday I went Christmas shopping and hubby got home from work before me. I had mentioned to him the front of the house was so dark (no lights). We had a snap on system years ago that outlined the entire house but the past few years we stopped using it because it was just too old and many of the lights just quit working. I have lights on my side deck and my gazebo frame and around the inside windows but that's it.

We went out for supper than stopped at our daughter's to visit. When we came home he pulled down in front of the house and the house was entirely dark. The lights on the deck were not on. I was wondering why he pulled in front of the house because we park in the back.

He jumped out of the car and told me to wait.
Soon the deck lights came on and also the lights in front that he put up before I got back from shopping. Bless his heart, he loves to surprise me and loves me to have what I need to decorate for Christmas. I don't know why the timer didn't work but he fixed it.

He took me shopping on Saturday and even helped find gifts for the men in the family. (He's not a shopper) But there he was in Boscov's loaded down with clothing to check out. He is my special blessing and I praise God for this man who loves his wife as Jesus loves the church.

Now he is a keeper.... that was so sweet of him to surprise you like that! My DH stated to me the other day that it has been almost 3 years since he said Bah Humbug to the season. He knows how much I love the season and decorating. Now he is getting into it... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

That is so nice of him! My husband did something similar a few years ago. I had mentioned how I love those lighted dear that people have on their lawns at Christmas time. I had gone to work and when I got home he had surprised me with lighted dear to put on the lawn!

I know that was a very nice surprise for you!!!
