I'm appreciative for the opportunity to interview though and know the right thing will come along.

I did visit my wife's new classroom yesterday. She's working hard to put it together and doing a great job. Tomorrow night we might have a date night as my in-laws are taking the kids to Tulsa (about an hour and a half from us) to see some stuff and have a fun day before school starts. So, me and the Mrs. are going to take advantage of it and go out to eat!

Hope you all have a great day.
Glad the interview went well. I know something will come a long for you.

Enjoy your date tonight, if you do decide to go out!

We are good, thanks for asking! We're just busy, as usual. I work all weekend, as does DH, so I'm just trying to relax and get caught up on here now.

It went from being relatively cool here for the past week to now roasting again and needing the air conditioner. I stepped outside to go for a walk after it rained last night, and wow - overwhelming humidity! I don't know if anyone has ever watched Friends...but if you recall the Barbados episode where Monica's hair went poofy/frizzy - that was me after going outside

I am feeling a little bit better today. Just hoping it goes away before vacation. I am not really looking forward to the plane ride. I don't mind it when there are two seats across and I can sit next to my family member, but I hate three which this plane has. I always feel crammed and like I have zero space.

I still have so much packing to do...yikes!!! I am so afraid I am going to forget something, even though I made a list and have been crossing off as I go.
Good to see you back, Jennifer! How you are you feeling? Where will you be heading for vacation?

The afternoon of the first day is devoted to athletic competition, and the evening to beer. The morning of the second day is an all-hands meeting. I'm one of the oldest employees age-wise and never was much of an athlete, and I don't drink beer (and can't tolerate being around those who have had too much of it), so I hold down the fort here. The remodeling is still going on---they're installing a drop-ceiling in the area behind me, so there's periodic drilling and hammering. Otherwise, I'm answering the phone and, unless some proofreading jobs come in by email, keeping myself entertained.

It's dark and rainy outside and there are still no overhead lights in my area, only the 60-watt lamp on my desk in a long, narrow room, so it's dim and almost cozy, except for the overactive air conditioning and the construction noise. They're working in the kitchen area, so there'll be no tea, coffee, or hot chocolate today. I brought my lunch. I hope it stays slow today so I'll have a breather. It's been a busy week.
LOL< you sound just like me, I would have stayed behind for the same reasons!

Ebooks are much cheaper then real books and without worrying for storage space I tend to buy way to many books. Do you have the same "problems"?

Tomorrow evening we are able to visit a flat, we might be able to buy. The offer looks very good, according to my cousin, who works in the real estate business. It would also be more or less close to the village we live in now. We'll see how the meeting goes and how the rest goes.

I'm going home early as there really isn't any work to do and I'm having headache.
we have books in every room of our house, and yes, we keep getting more! But we also from time to time give away books that we have read or no longer wish to keep so others can enjoy them.
Hope all goes well the viewing of the flat!

what you need is some white noise in your room at night so these things do not wake you up. Put on a small fan in your room and see how well that works.
I had a long and busy day at work and glad to be home again!

Oh, I have to have a fan going when I sleep no matter what it's like outside. I even have a battery operated one that I take with me when I travel. The storm last night was just louder than the fan.
