Good Morning MMC Gang!

Looks like the night at the pines was great!

I had a great dinner with my parents at one of our favourite restaurants. They told me about the special train travel over the Bernina mountain they did. One day I have to do it as well. The train drives through one of my favourite parts of my country. On top of the beautiful and breathetaking view, they also had great weather. I'm a bit envy.

If anyone want's to see what this train travel is about, here is a link:

It will be nice when my daughter gets her car, it will help me out and give me a break from all of the running around I do with her. But then again, she is my youngest and it also makes me sad. It's going to be so strange not having to chauffeur any kids around. My husband has been haggling with the car dealer all week and I believe they are just about ready to make a deal.
I also had some other news to share. A friend of mine has been doing babysitting out of her home to make some extra money. She has been doing it for years and has to turn people away because she can only watch so many. Anyway, she called me last night and asked if I might be interested in watching a six year old special needs girl. It would only be for a couple of hours in the morning until the school bus picks her up, twice a week. The family lives very close to me, they are right around the corner. I actually met with them earlier, they are a beautiful family. The little girl has cerebral palsy. She can't communicate well but she walks and eats all by herself. And she is incredibly sweet. I told them I will do it, I am so excited! Wish me luck, I really hope it works out. I start next Tuesday.
I hope everyone is well and had a wonderful day.
Goodnight!
That is such a nice thing to do! In our times many people have forgot about helping others. They don't know the benefits from it! I think it is great idea and I'm sure you will get so much out of it (non marterial)! The girl sounds sooo nice.

Yes I agree. I am delighted to see so many more UK members around recently! The only christmas shop I know about is the one that opened in Cornwall recently but that is to far for me. I would love to visit a proper christmas shop but I don't know of any anywhere. Probably for the best as I would spend too much! If you ever find out about any let us know!

Good Morning, Patient People Perpetually Preferring Picture-Perfect 'Pines Presentations.
(Or should that be picture Window presentations?)

And what a presentation by Carl last night!
But I still don't know who won the door prize after the taste-test contest. ("Name that blend", I guess.)

Regardless. Another day -- another count figure:
Days to the Season: 55
Days to Christmas Day: 97
Now under a week off from the 3/4 marker to Christmas Day.
(Drawing nearer and nearer by the day!)
And once that Milestone has passed, it's clear sailing on to the 90 percent Home Stretch mark to the Season!!
(Incredible! Just incredible!)

Nice and cool yesterday with low humidity. A day when you just didn't want to come in from outside.
Should be a bit warmer today but still great for late September.
We have started off this morning at another coolish 59 degrees.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks.
And I know you will because tomorrow is Weekend Eve once again!
