Just going to watch some TV, maybe pop in something Christmassy.

Have a great day!!!
Elizabeth really didn't like her first grade teacher, and used to cry and hold onto my leg for dear life. It's hard to leave them behind when they're so upset, huh?

When Wayne and I traveled up north a couple of years ago to his hometown in Maryland it was in mid October. I was "ooo'ing and ahh'ing" at the fall leaves from the tall trees all through this path that lead to our cabin in the woods. Wayne didn't realize how impressive it really was since he is from there and was freaking out on my child like "kid in a toy store" amazement! It gave him a giddy giggle. Ha ha! I can see photos and videos all day long but it's nothing like actually being there seeing it! Still pretty to see those photos and videos, keep them coming!

I have done a lot of traveling in the northern states but it was my first time to go there during the fall. I am ready to go back and see it again! Well, I did go up north during the fall once as a child but I guess I was not paying attention to the changing of the leaves. I don't remember that part.
It is beautiful., I love going through the woods for a walk when the leaves have changed. The color, the crunching leaves under foot, so nice and relaxing and peaceful.

I got a call last night from the mother of the little girl I was going to start watching today. Her grandmother has volunteered to put her on the bus on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so they will not be needing me. The mother promised me that if anything changes I will be the first one she calls. To be honest with you, I am almost relieved because I haven't been feeling well lately. Some days I barely have the energy to get through the day and take care of my own family.
I will be heading out soon, the dogs have a groomer appointment in a little while. I have a few errands to run while Molly and Maggie are at the groomer, including a trip to the supermarket. Then back home for chores. I also need to start a big pot of chicken soup for dinner.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
oh dear, you folks have a lot of problems with illness at your place, how do you deal with it so gracefully? I get a sore knee and feel sorry for myself and start whining. I do hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe you should have the air quality in your home checked, you made need some kind of special filtration system. Be careful and get the rest you need!

I'm going to try and contain my excitement though and do some work around the apartment and maybe make a couple of apple pies. I'm also going to work on some preliminary song lists for the shows I volunteered to do on Kringle radio. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.- You guys have been busy overnight and this morning!!!
It is an exciting day! I am staying here until I hear the news!
Glad to hear you are doing some shows for Kringle radio, I considered it, but to much of a chicken, I have trouble just calling in at Christmas with my greeting!

that is normal! I remember lots of shouting push push push, sounded like a cheer leading squad! Wonderful memories for sure.
