I find Black Friday a very curious thing, as we do not have thanksgiving here in the UK we do not have the same kick start into the festive shopping season. Black Friday here is what the locals call the last Friday before Christmas, it is more about the evening than the day. It is the most popular day for work christmas parties and our town is full to bursting with more party goers than it will see all the year put together, it is a great atmosphere and good fun but mixing alot of people with alot of alcohol can mean there are a few people who end up in a pickle!.
