My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
Honestly, its been difficult for me. I had to step away for a bit. I needed to reflect and think for a while.
The night I heard of her passing, I was driving to get some dinner. Someone turned on their Christmas lights around the corner from me, it was very, very strange but also comforting.
I had the realization that Louann would give me a good talking to if I spent too long being sad over her passing. She would tell me she was sorry for my loss and that it was the persons time to go. She would say "Adam, the person is always with you, with god, in heaven, watching over you."
She would tell me that I need to live my life the best that I can, seek happiness and love. That's what was so great about her, she would tell me like it is. She would then come back and say "I hope that wasn't too harsh.." even though it never was. She was always so thoughtful and cared so much. Its so strange to me that I never knew her in person, but she was such an important member here and on facebook. She would always comment, or like what I post. She was a beacon of the Christmas spirit and I won't forget that.
What also prompted me to post was that I got a spam email from Louann this morning! I hope her family knows what a dear, sweet person she was. That she was there for many of us and won't ever be forgotten. She will be dearly missed.

My dear sweet Godmooma has now been laid to rest. While we miss her so much here, we know she is now with God and the many who left this world before her. Thank you all so much for the continued kind words about Louanne and keep them coming! It helps for those of us who knew her in person to be able to see what an impact she made on all of you, whom she held so dear!

THis is such a shock as I have just found out about this. Louanne was like a second Mom to me she was the first person I ever talked to when I joined this message board and we both shared a love of animals. I am so sorry for you and all of her family. You will be in my prayers and I will never forget Louanne and I can't help but realize all of our Christmasas will not be the same without her. Rest in peace Louanne we love you!!!
