I think about it all the time but I have extra trigger points! Costco getting their stuff in, is a big problem for me, i would happily set up camp in the isles and stay put!. scented pine cones arrive in my shop at the end of august, its the best smell ever! also making the christmas cake in october!

The things that make me think of Christmas out of season are the smells of cinnamon, gingerbread, pine, and if my grandma cooks certain things (certain smells remind me of a cooking turkey, a honeybaked ham or grandma's sweet potato pie, all things we only have for Christmas or Thanksgiving dinners). I read earlier that someone said scotch tape and I have to agree (I wrap all the presents in the house except my own). Just hearing sleigh bells no matter where it is makes me think of Christmas. Once it's September though, Christmas starts to creep into my thoughts daily. By October, I'll be hopeless and listening to Christmas music often, I'll be making Christmas lists, and driving my family nuts with my Christmas plans.
