Thank you. Well, I can't really say that those little creations were some sort of masterpiece. Conversely. They were very simple and quick to make though they looked nice on Christmas true. Unfortunately, I haven't taken a picture of decorations themselves. I only have a photo of Christmas tree already decorated in them. (If you are still fancy to see them, here's the picture: http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/2136/tldy.jpg If you want the picture in full size, just click on it after you open the link. I hope you can see the silver 'balls' with red bows on top.)

Well - just today I messaged the family to nail down details of the time and place for our Christmas celebration. Since our family has grown so large and our homes have not it's become nearly impossible to host a holiday gathering in anyone's house. So, we have to plan in advance so I can reserve the church hall.

We have also begun Christmas shopping and have a little stash of gifts tucked away - that makes me happy!

I have collected quite a bit of pinecones now. I have washed them and they are ready for decorating. I am uncertain what style/theme to go with though. I have a few ideasl but ofcourse I have to choose one colour theme/ design. So far I do know that I want a natural elegant look for the tree.

I love reading all the previous posts about everyone's upcoming plans and ideas. It is so exciting to think how our plans will accelerate over the next few months!

Did you make your own christmas cards? How lovely! I love comfort food too anytime of the year Fingers crossed you get some snow. I love snow too, it adds to the magic.

For my Christmas tree, I will probably use the same decorations which I made last year for last year's Christmas tree. It looked very beautiful with them so I'm thinking of decorating the tree in the same way this year too. :]
Looking forward to a photo of your tree when you get the chance! We'd love to see your decoratiions!

Sounds lovely , I bet she will love that! I really must start thinking about gift ideas.

On Tues night my 7 y/o was cleaning her room with the radio on and I heard Christmas music...they were playing all Christmas music for the night.

I heard O Come Emmanuel...and felt giddy!
What a lovely surprise that must have been !

Places get booked up so quickly and so early so it's a good idea to reserve your venue as soon as possible. Well done you for starting your shopping too!

I was looking for an easy to make and nice ideas of Christmas countdown. I found a perfect video on 'YouTube', and I'm thinking of making the countdown while I will be back home in Lithuania (which is in less than a month). The countdown itself is for 25 days which means it starts at 1st December, but I think that I would be able to start the countdown from 1st October or something if I made more little logs with number. :] If anyone is interested, the video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9Z38j9XoLQ
