Last Sunday night was the first time we turned the heat on. So yep, it's definitely Fall now!

We turned it back off a couple days later, as warm temperatures set back in, but it's touch and go now.

Turning the heater on that first time initiated us going through the kid's clothing, and putting away the summer clothes and getting out the winter clothes (and getting rid of ones they've outgrown). Anyway else find this to be an annual (or bi-annual) experience?

Every Fall/Spring we find ourselves going through our kid's clothing...

I live in an apartment complex with all my utilities included, so I have to wait until they turn it on... but currently I still have my AC unit in the window, lol. I'll probably take it out this week on one of my days off, though. It's 61°F though right now and I think the temp is gonna make it's way down from here. Hopefully my complex doesn't wait to turn it on as long as they waited last year... I sat around covered in blankets for awhile, haha.

And.....last night we had to turn the heater on for an hour, just to take the chill off! Autumn has come to California!

We were trying to hold out until Nov before we turned the heater on but ths cold snap isn't going to allow that to happen. Had to turn it on this morning as the temp in the house was 62.

I'm still hangin' tough over here. My kitchen is electric (it's an addition) and I turned it on for a bit this AM because it was so darn cold. But not yet with the radiators! It's coooooold in the mornings!

I'm still holding out. I just have laundry ready to go in the morning and running the dryer heats up my apartment. Plus my neighbor has been cranking up his heat at night so that helps keep my apartment warm too.

I held out as long as I could but it's no fun being in a cold house. Heat is on as I type.
