That article says they're starting in "early November". And yet the first date it lists is November 26th?
That's actually right around the time they air those every year: the last week of November is when the major networks start airing their classics. ABC will probably air "A Charlie Brown Christmas" that same week. I think everything's just thrown out of whack this year - with Thanksgiving coming so late (on November 28th).
So yeah, it's not unusual to see Rudolf airing the last week of November, it's just unusual that it's airing before Thanksgiving.
