Yep, as I said in this post, my local Walmart has started to break out it's Christmas decorations in the Lawn and Garden section.

That was two weeks ago. I was just back in there yesterday, and by now, it ALMOST looks like that picture posted above by snowflake22. They were halfway through putting up the Christmas Trees display. They also had a large supply of outdoor decorations (including lights) and they also had a cute little Christmas village set up on one shelf. Yep, I found myself whistling "It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"

Just an interesting observation when it comes to Walmart; I think I've found a pattern each year:

It seems every year the break out the outdoor decorations first (lights, yard decorations, etc), along with the Christmas trees, followed by the ornaments and other inside decorations, and FINALLY they bring in the Christmas cards, wrapping paper, and gift boxes and bags.

Just something I've noticed.

So since my Walmart has had outdoor decorations for a couple weeks now, and they're now putting up ornaments...shouldn't be too much longer (hopefully) till I see Christmas cards!

My local WalMart has nothing out yet, and they usually have stuff out in August. So, I don't know what is going on.

Our Walmart has been putting out their Christmas stuff this past week. Looks like there are about 40% done. Cant wait until they have everything out. Going to start picking up some more stuff here and there.

When we went last weeekend, they had the lawn and garden section cleared out for the most part...we didn't go in because the only Christmas looking items we saw was red and green trunks....

But it won't be long...
