My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
We have had snow flurries but nothing to amount to anything. But this morning I pulled up the window blink and it was a winter wonderland with heavy wet snow clinging to trees and overhead wires. Cars completely covered as well as the yard, no grass showing at all. And it's very cold. I'm guessing we had 3 inches, doesn't sound like much but when it's so wet and heavy it sure looks like a lot. Thank goodness it's been melting in spite of the very cold temps.
ummmm, winter is not until Dec. 21st, why can't spring and summer come early like winter?

Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County issued
Snow squalls possible today.
Cold northerly winds over the open waters of the Great Lakes are resulting in snow squalls continually today southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
The Lake Huron snow squalls are affecting Huron County and London area, over Bluewater to Lucan. Visibilities could drop to near zero and travel conditions will be hazardous. Snowfall rates in the snow squalls may vary from 2 to 4 centimetres per hour. Under the heaviest bands, additional snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm or more are possible today.
We had some flurries a few weeks before Halloween, but it didn't stick. But, last night we had a nice little downpour of flakes, and they were still around this morning. So glad to see it too, because my holiday spirit is really taking it's time getting here, the snow was a nice little boost.
