Aren't you the lucky one! I have to work next week, but I do have off half day on Christmas Eve, and all day on Christmas Day. My husband has to work Christmas this year (boo!). So I guess we'll enjoy going out to see some lights on Sunday and Monday (that's his 'weekend'). On Christmas Eve I'll go to work, then come home and relax before going to the service at our Church. Christmas day is THE BEST this year....I'm going to my Sister's, and her stepdaughter will be with us this year. She's a neat kid, and we both enjoy just sitting and reading, or listening to Christmas music. So there it is...not a bad few days!

I can't believe we are at this stage already! We are all super excited . Last day of school today and my husband is also on holiday for 2wks after today! So our Christmas festivities begin tonight with movies, music, food, drink and everything Christmassy! Over the next couple of days I have a few bits to do around the house and gift wrapping. Other than that I hope to really enjoy the next few days and slow down and savour everything.
I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas, have a magical time!

Just finished work today until the New Year so it's full on Christmas. Wrapping and house cleaning will be the order of the day along with mince pies and possibly Champagne. There is the small matter of a trip around Tesco (big supermarket) for the final food shop which will not be easy as the crowds every year are enormous, but hey that's the fun of Christmas, sharpen your elbows and fight for the sprouts.

My office is open Christmas eve until 2 pm- boo! BUT we do have the day after Christmas off which is great. I still have a few more presents to get and food shopping to do. I wrote my Christmas menu out last night so I actually remember what to get once I go to the supermarket. I'm trying to make everything as streamlined as possible. As much as I love Christmas, I always end up being super stressed. I looked up recipes for "pre-made" Christmas breakfasts. I am also cooking my meats the night before so I just have to concentrate on side dishes the day of. I am even making my pies ahead of time and freezing them to avoid the last minute dash of Christmas day. Hopefully my new tactics go off without a hitch! I have about 10 more presents to wrap and 2 more presents to buy and then I am done with that side. I only have 2 toddler beds to put together as well- everything else is already wrapped or put together and waiting for a gigantic bow.
I'm so excited! Can't wait to make family memories!!!

Hello Everyone! I can't believe Christmas is around the corner. I was telling a friend today I'm so glad I'm an organized person, and have everything done. All my gifts are bought and wrapped, my cards are sent out, and baking done. Today I did some cleaning and will do more on Monday. Monday afternoon, my oldest SS is coming home for the holidays. Christmas Eve, we're going to my husbands brothers house for their family Christmas celebration. I have cupcakes to make for that. I'm really looking forward to Christmas Day, when we stay home, and enjoy the holiday.
