My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.

Our traditions seem to change a bit every year. But the ones that are always there are:
*Advent calendars: which we fill ourselves with small things
*Stockings: but never on the same time...one year there was a note where they where hung saying that Santa was very sorry, but he ran out of stocking stuffers but promised to have them back by new years day. On January 1st everyone woke to a fully stuffed stocking hung up and waiting to be dug into.
*taking all day to open gifts. Only one gift and hour is opened by each person. This makes the fun last all day!
