Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.

Okay, here goes! I posted this on another thread previously, I think. Hopefully, no one thinks I'm a crazy collectible nut!!!
Porcelain dolls--I have approx. thirty in my collection. I have slowed down on acquiring new ones because I'll run out of room--plus I don't want to be too cluttered.
Cat figurines (knick knacks)--I have pretty much stopped getting any new ones unless I get one as a gift. I have a small, 4 shelf curio in which I display them.
Bottles--these are mostly the old decorative Jack Daniels bottles and such with artwork on them and they are in various shapes and colors. I also have an old metal liquor bottle dating from the late 1800s. I love these!
Books--I am an avid reader and library builder. Books are my favorite thing in the world, after my kids! I have over 1000 fiction, which I have catalogued. I probably have that many non-fiction, but have not catalogued them as of yet. I now probably have close to 100 Christmas books. My front room is my library. Bookshelves line the walls except for where I have my piano. I have a very large round table in the center for reading, dining, academic pursuits, games, etc. and I have a large, comfy armchair in one corner. This is my favorite room in the house! I can't wait to decorate it for Christmas!!!
I have two Christmas villages which include a Thomas Kinkade house/fountain and a Thomas Kinkade station house.
So, do I sound very crazy yet? I'm going to try to take some pics within the next month and I'll post them here.
I'm a pack rat to say the least..I collect many things actually. I like to collect Christmas Ornaments, Cookie Cutters, Promotional and Character glasses, depression glass(ware), etc....it's a fun hobby!
