When the kids were still at home, Christmas baking was such a tradition. I still love to bake at Christmas but have cut way back. I always make a couple Christmas Stollens, fresh fruit cake...not traditional,and cookies. Since Sonny and I are trying hard not to indulge in all the sweet goodies, I bake to give away. I was planning to begin today but time slipped away. So tomorrow I will make my fruit cakes to get me started. I think I will make those gingerbread cookies mentioned here. I love gingerbread cookies...need to go get a cookie cutter.
