Tara...are you Italian? I married into an Italian family and so did two of my daughters...sooooo....we always need to have an Italian dish along with the traditional turkey dinner. Sonny usually makes an awesome Italian style clam chowder when every one arrives. I make my crock-pot spaghetti sauce and serve with various pasta. Everyone fills up pretty well upon arrival. A few hours later we sit down to our turkey dinner. Not a day to be on a diet...Lol.

We always have a glazed ham AND a reall nice beef roast on Christmas Day. We're tired of turkey after Thanksgiving!

Turkey all the way baby. We never had a ham for Christmas when I was growing up, plus everyone in the house with the exception of my mother prefers turkey any day of the week.

Turkey? Nope, as Thanksgiving finishes that craving. The kids don't like ham, so that's out, too. We have a nice roast beef with mashed pots & green beans.

star This year I am going to try

making a turken....a stuffed duck inside a chicken inside a turkey (all deboned for easier slicing!~) I heard of this first when my sister was living in Australia and she loved it. So I thought I would give it a try.

We usually have both, a small turkey breast a spiral ham, and lots of side dishes. We have a lot of people to feed.
