The dollar stores, I think, are great for getting tissue paper for gift wrapping as well as buying items for basket gifts, like gloves for a gardening basket or coloring books and crayons for a kids art tin.....I never leave out the dollar store to check and see what they may have to add to gift baskets....oh and frames! Frames from the dollar store, bring home and spray paint...add photos or pressed flowers...

Lfisch -- I also love the dollar stores in general! I especially like the art supplies -- it is great to give as an extra little present for kids for Christmas, birthdays, any time! And each dollar store has different things. They even often have journals and great purse noptebooks for adults!

I was in my dollar store this morning and purchased some decorations and some gift tags and some shredded tinsel to put into my baskets. I do love it when the christmas stuff comes out in the dollar stores as well.

Sometimes you can get something at the dollar store that is the talk of your holiday. I got some beautiful wrap there once, but someone noticed all the words printed on it were spelled wrong. It said "Meery Christmas" and "Enjoy the Spirt of Christmas"
