Old World Roast Goose With Potato Stuffing

It's a recipe I found on the internet here:
http://www.recipezaar.com/102706

I've made it twice so far. It takes a long time but the payoff is more than worth it. It's supposed to be a 300 year old recipe which is really neat!

That's an old recipe, wow 300 years. I have tried goose and I don't personally care for it. Maybe it wasn't cooked right..hard to say. The potatoes sound really good thou. Thanks for sharing!

I guess it is hard to get right, but I'm not a good cook and I've not had any problems yet. To me it came out like a cross between the dark meat on turkey and pot roast. It was really good and the stuffing was yuuuuuuuuuuuuuummy.
