How early will you have to awake on Christmas morning?

I was wondering how many of you have to get up early with the children on Christmas morning. When my girls were little they'd get up around 5:00 to open gifts, even though we were up until 2-3 getting everything done.
No rest for Santa as they say.

Now that the kids are older, they actually sleep in because they know Santa has already come! LOL!

When they were little, they got up REALLY early!!

I'll probably get up around 6:00 am or so...whenever DH decides he can't stand it anymore and disturbs me enough so that I wake up.

Seriously, he will toss and turn and sigh and then get right in my face and stare at me until I finally give in and open my eyes. At which point he'll exclaim "Oh good, you're up! We can open presents!"

I usually get up earlier than everyone else, even though I'm 23 now!! This year will be no different! My fiance insists on sleeping in until like noon, but my God he is waking up with me! I think I'm going to get up at maybe...7am.

My kids are away at college. Sleep is the most important to them so we do a mid morning Christmas. Now, when they were young....Ricky was in 3rd grade...we got a wake up call at 3:00 AM. OMG! I still remember it. I was sick with an upper respiratory infection and his room is right below ours. Well, he was so excited that he was in and out of his room every ten minutes. If it wasn't every ten minutes, it sure seemed like it. Finally, at 6:00, I told Rick that we needed to get up because I couldn't listen to his door open and shut anymore. I thought I'd get some sleep later in the day. I don't really remember...but, I don't think I caught up on that missing sleep. I was a bad mom and broke the news about Santa to him. Well, I hedged a bit...told him that we help him. I do believe in Santa and I don't think he ever really quit believing....after all... how did this tradition begin? No one made it all up.
