My Merry Christmas Announcement

Christmas Together We're here year round and even though we are scattered all over the world and most of us have never met face-to-face we find ways to celebrate the season together. From our annual Christmas exchanges to scheduled chats our Christmasing together is discussed here.

The way you have Christmas with a spouse being sick is you don't have Christmas. We can't have a Christmas until he is well. We have all decided to not celebrate christmas until he gets home .We found out he has a mass in his colon which needs to be removed. We will do everything different this year than any other year.

My husband called me from the hospital & said we will celebrate here at home, if anyone wants to see him they can come here. It will be different since he'll be recovering from surgery, yet he wants it for me.
That's what Christmas is : Love that you feel for everyone, even when you"re down.

Good for you !

Don't overdo things though; make sure he gets enough rest after the surgery. The best Christmas present will be his homecoming !

Hope all goes well with the surgery ! Will be light a special candle for you !

(((((mammaduke))))) I am so sorry to hear about your mother in law passing & your husband having problems. How stressful & worrisome. I will be praying that the mass is removed with no complications & he is back home & healthy in no time so you can all enjoy a nice Christmas.

We met with the doctors today, he'll have surgery Tuesday morning , they'll have to remove 2/3 of his colon. They are hoping he'll be home for christmas but they aren't sure. We'll celebrate after he gets home & gets better.
They let him come home today until he has surgery on Tuesday. We are really happy about that, we get to spend time alone before he gets his operation.

Today he wanted to wrap all the gifts that we got, so we got that all done . He really wants to be home for Christmas, if he gets out of the hospital I'll have my family here that day.
