Last weekend we were in Palmyra , Pennsylvania at a restaurant. We had our two daughters and son-in-laws with us with 7 of our grandchildren. When we went up to the cashier to pay our bill, there was a man in front of us that looked like Santa. He had the build, the beautiful white beard and hair. He started talking to our little ones and my 7 year old grandaughter and 7 year old grandson both said to this man, "You look like Santa clause.
He just smiled and handed them business cards and yep, he was a Santa. He even gave us the Santa laugh as he walked away.
It was cute. Though my grandchildren know it's just a character it still was exciting for them to meet someone who really looked like the pictures.
Oh and the summer flowered shirt he told us it was his summer outfit. Perhaps Santa was there to enjoy Hershey Park like us.
that reminds me of a time when my daughter was about 3, and we got in line at McDonalds behind a guy who even I wondered if he was the real Santa or not. My daughter was dumbstruck for I think the one and only time in her little life. The guy played along beautifully, asking if she'd been good etc. Must not have been the first time he'd been mistaken for the big guy.
